Household Spell Manual After Jam

Hey everyone! We originally created this game for Micro Jam #035, but we loved the idea so much that we decided to keep working on it. We took inspiration from Papers, Please and similar games that we really enjoy.

Right now, we’re polishing the prototype, fixing some post-jam issues, and adding a few improvements:

✅ Added customer reactions to both correct and incorrect answers.
✅ Introduced an error counter and a welcome dialogue explaining how it works.
✅ Fixed minor bugs.

What’s next?

We definitely want to:
— Add more customer reactions for different spell combinations.
— Improve the spellbook to make it a bit clearer (but not too much—gotta keep things fun 😈).

If we decide to turn this into a full game, our first step will be refactoring the dialogue system (right now, it’s all hardcoded because of the jam deadline 😅) and improving the writing. After that, we’ll start designing and implementing new mechanics.
